King Billy Tempranillo’07
This Pyrenees Tempranillo is the first commercially bottled Tempranillo in the Australian Pyrenees. Like it’s cousin in the Pyrenees in Spain, it is grown at the same altitude and in similar climatic conditions. It is considered Spain’s answer to the Cabernet Sauvignon. It has been lightly oaked in French and American Barriques for 12 months, the colour is deep purple to black and has typical varietal characteristics with a chocolate and vanilla after taste. Well rounded palate, a big mouth fill yet a very smooth finish
